Welcome to Corodomo! These Terms of Use govern your use of the Corodomo platform and services. By using Corodomo, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Corodomo. If you are under 18, you may only use the Services under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
To access certain features of Corodomo, you will need to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.
You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration. You agree not to share your account credentials with anyone.
You may use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
Corodomo reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms.
All content provided on Corodomo, including but not limited to text, images, audio, and software, is owned by Corodomo or its licensors.
You retain ownership of the content you create and share using the Services. By posting or sharing content, you grant Corodomo a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content as part of the Services.
Corodomo lets you import videos from third-party platforms and upload your own media files in order to study them. You may also choose to share a video with the community, which makes it visible to other learners in the Explore feed and the community feed ("Shared Content").
Sharing is strictly opt-in. Content you upload or import stays private to your account unless you explicitly enable sharing for that item, and you may turn sharing off at any time, which removes the item from Explore and the community feed.
By uploading, importing, or sharing any content, you represent and warrant that you own that content or otherwise hold all rights, licences, consents, and permissions necessary to upload it, to store it on our infrastructure, and — where you enable sharing — to make it publicly available through the Services.
You are solely and fully responsible for the content you upload, import, or share, and for all legal consequences arising from it.This includes, without limitation, copyright and neighbouring rights, trademark rights, image and personality rights, privacy rights, confidentiality obligations, defamation, and compliance with the laws applicable to you. Corodomo does not review content before it is uploaded and acts only as a technical hosting intermediary for user-provided material.
You must not upload, import, or share, in particular:
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Corodomo and its operator from and against any claim, demand, proceeding, loss, damage, or cost (including reasonable legal fees) brought by a third party and arising out of content you uploaded, imported, or shared, or out of your breach of this section.
We may, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, remove, disable, or restrict access to any content, and suspend or terminate the account responsible for it, where we believe in good faith that this section has been breached or that doing so is necessary to comply with the law or to protect the rights of others.
Corodomo operates copyright tracking measures for content that is shared publicly through the Services, combining automated checks with manual review, and maintains records of uploads (including the uploading account, timestamps, and technical metadata) so that complaints can be investigated and acted upon.
If you are a rights holder, or are authorised to act on behalf of one, and you believe that content available through the Services infringes your rights, please send a notice tocontact@corodomo.comincluding the following:
Upon receiving a valid and sufficiently detailed notice, we will remove or disable access to the reported content within 24 to 48 hours. We will notify the uploading user of the removal and the reason for it. If a notice is incomplete, we will ask for the missing details before we can act, and the timeframe runs from receipt of the completed notice.
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may send a counter-notice to the same address, identifying the removed content, explaining why the removal was mistaken, and providing evidence of your rights. We will review counter-notices and may restore the content if the objection is well-founded. Where the parties disagree, we will keep the content disabled until the dispute is resolved between them or by a competent authority.
We operate a repeat-infringer policy: accounts that are the subject of repeated valid copyright complaints will have their sharing privileges withdrawn and may be terminated, and content already removed must not be re-uploaded.
Nothing in this section limits any right or remedy otherwise available to a rights holder, and complying with a takedown request does not constitute an admission of liability by Corodomo.
Corodomo may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content or practices of any third-party sites and encourage you to review their terms and privacy policies.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Corodomo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services.
Corodomo reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective when posted on this page, and your continued use of the Services signifies your acceptance of the modified Terms.
All content, design, and API data of Corodomo are proprietary. Unauthorized reproduction, redistribution, or reuse of Corodomo’s content or API is strictly prohibited.

Third-Party Services: We may use third-party services such as analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to improve our Services. These services may collect limited data as described in their respective privacy policies. Corodomo is operated by Tran Quoc Viet, based in Vietnam.
Corodomo uses artificial intelligence (AI) to generate or assist in generating certain content and features, including but not limited to: transcripts, subtitles, furigana/pinyin/romanization, pronunciation scoring and feedback, translations, quizzes, exams, learning paths, and other study materials ("AI-Generated Content"). Wherever reasonably practicable, AI-Generated Content is labeled as such within the Services.
AI-Generated Content is produced automatically and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions, including incorrect pronunciation assessments, mistranslations, or mis-segmented text. It is provided for educational and reference purposes only and should not be relied upon as professional, certified, or human-verified linguistic advice. We continuously work to improve the accuracy of our AI features but do not guarantee their correctness or completeness.
Some AI features may process your inputs (such as audio recordings, text, or images) using third-party AI service providers to generate results. See our Privacy Policy below for details on how this data is handled.
Certain AI-powered features consume a shared AI usage allowance associated with your account (shown in the product as Remaining AI usage time). Allowance amounts depend on your plan (for example, Free, Plus, or Pro) and may be topped up on renewal or monthly reset. Individual features may deduct allowance based on audio/video duration, fixed per-action costs, or estimated AI token usage.
Plan prices, AI allowances, and how usage is deducted may change over time to reflect operating costs. For a detailed explanation of which tasks consume allowance and how deductions work, see our AI usage calculation guide.
If you have any questions regarding these Terms, please contact us at contact@corodomo.com.

At Corodomo, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how you can control your information.
When you use Corodomo, we may collect the following types of information:
We use the information we collect to:
We will not share your personal information with third parties, except in cases where it is necessary to provide the Services (e.g., hosting providers, and the AI service providers described in Section 9 below), comply with legal obligations, or with your explicit consent.
This app uses YouTube API Services. By using this app, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy:
We use YouTube's iframe player and Data API to display video content. YouTube may collect data about your video viewing activity, including but not limited to:
Corodomo does not download, store, or redistribute YouTube videos or their audio. Videos are played through YouTube's official embedded player, and only the publicly available subtitles/captions of a video you select are processed to create study materials.
You can revoke YouTube API access at any time via Google security settings: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions
When you upload or import a video, we store the media file, its derived data (such as transcripts, subtitles, and thumbnails), and upload records that identify the account that provided it, together with timestamps, the source URL where applicable, IP address, and basic technical metadata.
These upload records are kept for security purposes and so that we can investigate and respond to copyright complaints and other legal requests, as described in the Terms of Use. We retain them for a reasonable period after the content itself has been deleted or removed in order to handle any subsequent claim, and we may disclose them to a complainant or competent authority where we are legally required to do so, or where it is necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
If you choose to share a video with the community, the following becomes visible to other users of the Services: the video and its study materials, its title and thumbnail, and your display name and avatar as the uploader, along with aggregate figures such as view counts. Do not share content that contains personal information you do not want to be publicly visible. Turning sharing off removes the item from public areas of the Services, though copies may remain in caches or in the backups described in this Policy for a limited period.
Corodomo may use cookies and similar technologies to enhance your experience on the platform. Cookies help us remember your preferences and track usage patterns. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings, but disabling cookies may affect your ability to use certain features of the Services.
Subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store. Apple may collect and process payment information and subscription status. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings.
We receive limited subscription information from Apple (such as subscription status and expiration date) but do not have access to your payment details.
We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data.
You have the right to:
To exercise these rights, please contact us at contact@corodomo.com.
Corodomo does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete such information from our servers.
To provide AI-powered features (such as pronunciation scoring, transcription, translation, furigana/pinyin generation, and AI-generated learning content), we send relevant inputs to the following third-party AI service providers for processing:
In the mobile app, we ask for your explicit consent before your data is sent to these providers for the first time; if you decline, the related feature is simply not used and no data is sent. These providers process such data solely to generate the requested output and under contractual terms that restrict their use of your data for other purposes, such as training their own models, except where you have explicitly opted in.
For YouTube videos, Corodomo does not download the video or its audio track. Only the publicly available subtitles/captions of the video you select are retrieved and processed by the AI providers above to create study materials.
We retain AI-generated outputs (e.g., transcripts, scores, generated content) as part of your account data to provide and improve the Services, in accordance with the data retention practices described elsewhere in this Policy. You may request deletion of this data by contacting us at contact@corodomo.com.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the Services constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or our data practices, please contact us at contact@corodomo.com.
